J o u r n e y ruled the music world in the early 80's, producing a non-stop stream of his. It seemed as if every album gthey cut turned to platinum. But as the decade came to an end, J o u r n e y all but disappeaared, dropping out of the limelight as suddenly as they had stepped into it. In 1996, the band regrouped for gthe "Trial by fire" album, which garnered their first Grammy nomination for "When you love a woman". However the comeback was shortlived and rumors have swirled at a hurricane pace ever since, especially about the band's mysteriously private lead singer Steve Perry. With exclusive interviews, this new directors cut introduces all the players in J o u r n e y's meteoric rise to fame, and paints a larger portrait of the pressures put upon all three of their singers.
